We think it is important that guests with food allergies or intolerances can also enjoy delicious food at SIS! Below you will find information about that. Do not hesitate to message us if you have any questions about this!
Gluten-free
SUE cake
Did you know that at SIS we also have incredibly delicious pastries without gluten, lactose and refined sugars? These pastries are from SUE Food and are also vegan!
We always have several flavors in stock in the freezer. If you want to come for coffee, we can always have this thawed for you in advance. Of course, if you ordered it when you're at SIS, that's also possible. Within 15 minutes it will be defrosted.
You can also take these SUE pastries with you so you always have something tasty with your coffee at home too!

Lunch or High-Tea at SIS
With a gluten and/or lactose allergy, lunch or High Tea'ing is also possible at SIS! We always have gluten-free bread in stock. Please let us know if we can take this into account.
For High Tea, you may indicate it at the time of reservation and if you come for lunch, it is sufficient if you indicate it when you pass your dish to the kitchen.
Here you will find our allergen chart.
Please note that our kitchen uses a variety of products that contain gluten, lactose or other ingredients that you may be allergic to. We cannot exclude traces because of this!
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can you park?
If you navigate to SIS, you will actually come straight to a parking lot. Should it be full here, you can always park nearby as well. You can do this at the MCD (Lijnbaan) or behind the HEMA (Gedempte Haven).
At the parking lot in front of SIS and at the MCD, parking is max 2 hours with a parking disc and otherwise free. Behind the HEMA you do not need a parking disc and it is also free.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are always welcome! They may stay on the floor & we like it if the dogs don't bark. That way the owners can have a nice chat ;-)!
Can I eat with you even with an allergy?
How good of you to ask. More information on that can be found here.
Can I charge my bike's battery?
Yes! If you can disconnect your bike's battery, you can charge your battery with us (free of charge).
